readers, we have been learning about Screencastify. There are lots of things you need to think about before you record a video, like background noise, making sure you know what to say and also making sure your face fits in the frame. Today we were tasked to make someone's day with a shout out! So this is for my Dad.
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

DeleteHey Marleigh,
ReplyDeleteNice shout out, did you let your dad know that you had done this for him? Well done for making sure your face fit in the frame and you used a clear voice.
- Miss Morgan
I was nervous to do my shout out but I did tell my dad.
DeleteWell done Marleigh.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to give your dad a message. I wish we had this sort of technology when I was at school.
If I wanted to do a shout out to my mum, I would of had to of written it on paper. I guess then it would of been called a letter, back in the day.
Has you dad seen the video?
My dad has seen the video. Thanks for looking at my blog
