In room 11 in writing we have been doing something about labels on food like the sugar content and fat content. We wanted to know if it as healthy or not or like are you allowed that much sugar or salt.

Student Summit

 In room 11 my teacher Miss Mclachlan made this thing called student summit. A student summit is kinda like a workshop. Some people in our school made their own workshops with buddies. We had to go on google meet calls with other people from different schools. People from other schools and my school would use a app and tell you how it works. People from different schools made a presenttaion about the app. The school that the the student summit was HPS,YMS,WPS,SHS,HHS,GS, and STB 

One of my favourite apps was mihi maker. Mihi maker is a app where you write about your self but in a animation. Its basicly a moari language thing lots of things on the app are writen in moari you could also write in english. The thing I like about mihi maker is that it includes my culture and that its a animation.

One of the other workshops I did was Scratch Jr. Scratch Jr is another app about animations. Scratch Jr is a app were you connect different puzzels shapes together to make a animation. You can change backgrounds on Scratch Jr you can also get different characters. The thing I like about Scratch Jr is that its really easy to use and that its a fun app. 

One of the other workshops was about slide shows on google drive. It was called supped up slides with pear deck. Supped up slides was something to do with a slide show. Supped up slides was a really complicated one for me. Supped up slides included some drawing and something to do with the slide show. The thing I liked about it was that it included something I liked and that it was really colorful.

The last workshop was prezi. Prezi is a app where its kinda like google drive. You had to login with your school email. When they login in I saw pretty poster stuff. The thing I like about it is that you can make pretty posters and that it was easy to use. It was kinda hard for me I couldn't really understand but this is what I know.

Forced Perspective Photography

 Malo lelei everyone today we have been  learning how to take Perspective photo.we watched a video on how to take a photo. After that we choosed our buddies and got a ipad. We went outside and took some pictures.

Cookisland Tradition!!

Kia orana everyone! Today I will be showing you what we do in the cookislands and what we eat. In the Cookislands we eat coconuts and lots of fruit. We eat fish muscles and pig and other pacifican foods like supapasoi. We dance and wear lava lava's with a flower hat sometimes we wear a flower on our ear. When we dance we move our hands very slowly and move them around like a worm. We mostly walk in bare feet or wear sandals.

Snapshot Writing!

In room 11 we made pictures and made them look really cool. We had to show how we were feeling at that time with face expressions. We took photos on the ipad's and uploaded it to the Chromebook then we posted it on our blogs and I would like to show you mine!

I was at Jurassic park and I saw a dinosaur escape from his cage I ran as fast as I could. I stopped running when I was at the Auckland sky tower. I climbed to the very top and was struggling to balance I saw the dinosaur under me I was scared to death. My white flip flops rocket lanched off my foot flying in the air like a bird. I fell off the tower and waited for the end of me. The dinosaurs mouth was open ready to chomp me up like a cookie. Looking down at the dinosaurs mouth I could see sharp teeth a massive tonge. I said goodbye to my flip flops and waited for the first bite on my hand it was the end of me.

Kia ora everyone in reading we have been using this app called Genia.ly. We got given a story and had to write what they did what they look like. We needed a reason why they did that aswell. I really wanted to share mine with you guys so here it is
